Farrier:

Ken Crimmins is here every week.  Ponies feet are done every 4/8 weeks pending on ponies needs.

Ken has been shoeing for us since 2000 and shoeing in South Carolina for over 15 years.

He is on the board of directors for the BWFA and helped found The National
Farrier Research Center in Lafayette, GA.  He is accredited as a Journey Men two and tester

Performance Equine Vets:
DVM Sabrina Jacobs is here usually on a bi weekly bases or as needed.
Ponies are kept up to date on all shots, teeth, and other veterinary care.

Keeping accurate, detailed breeding records for the stallion is imperative from
season to season to manage him for the best reproductive efficiency.

Excessive time spent phantom training with a stallion will be billed per hour


 
Semen

Complete Semen Extension Analysis
Semen collection for previously phantom trained stallions.  Evaluation consists of samples
from one to two ejaculates that are cooled for 24, 48 and if appropriate, 72 hours in multiple
semen extender with antibiotics.  Once there is a firm understanding of semen longevity,
then recommendations are made as to the most suitable extender for shipping the semen.

Broodmare Board Plan

Mares live out in our big field (18 acres) for most of their pregnancy. As they get closer
to foaling (2 months) they move to a paddock close to the barn. We up their feed as needed
and add Alfalfa hay to their diets. When their due date comes closer we start bringing
 them in at night to a stall so they can be monitored thought the night.
